Zoie is now 5 weeks old and I can't believe how BIG she is getting. I went to the lactation class on Monday and there was a baby that weighted the same amount that Zoie did when she was born, and I could not believe that Zoie was ever that small. I know, it's only 5 weeks but she is growing so fast. I keep saying I want her to do certain things, then I step back and realize she will be there soon enough. I need to enjoy every minute of every day (even non sleeping ones) because they will be gone before I know it.

It's still so new to me, being called a mom. Still sounds werid, but I love it. I am responsible for this adorable little one. How wonderful this experience is!!! I could not do it though without Jeff. Sometimes he likes to have selective hearing (mainly at 2am), but he is such a BIG help. Jeff is a Daddy, how awesome is that. He not only helps me with her, but also does the laundry and dishes. Again, I am so thankful to have such a wonderful husband. As I type this, he is in the room with Zoie making sure she eats and burps. I did not realize how critical the burps are....

I am cherishing every minute, I love my life!!!!! Jeff, Zoie, Peanut and Butter, it does not get better than that.
